Fall 2026
OPEN STUDIO RESERVATIONS
handbuilding ceramics • wheel pottery
Open Studio sessions offer current 40th & Pine Arts and former Tucker Rec Arts students additional time to create, refine, and finish their clay projects outside of class. These sessions are available for separate purchase and are not included with regular class registration.
Open Studio is intended for students who are currently or have previously taken a ceramics class at 40th & Pine Arts (formerly Tucker Rec Arts) and are familiar with our studio tools, equipment, and procedures.
This is a shared communal space and students are required to clean up after themselves. If you need a refresher on glazing, where things go or how to clean something, please ask. It’s a great opportunity to work on pieces in progress, complete greenware, or glaze bisque-fired work at your own pace.
While no formal instruction is provided, a staff member or studio volunteer will be on site to answer basic questions, ensure safe use of equipment, and help maintain a clean, collaborative studio environment.
